ComFest Liveblog Part Two: Paper Airplane

So I will admit that I received a CD from Paper Airplane many months ago (I'm thinking it was sometime in the fall), and I've listened a few times, but was not quite impressed. Well, consider that sentiment overturned. After the energetic, exciting, interesting set by these guys (and girl), I'm more than excited to get home and relisten to some of their music. They had some incredible changes happening during, "Only in your Hands", and a great Beatles-y vibe during one of their "slow numbers". The one moment that sticks out in my mind, though, has got to be when the band was nearing the crescendo in one of their less interesting songs, and the wind picked up, the tent was billowing and swaying, and the song got louder and more powerful, and it was magic. The kind of magic you only get at ComFest.
