So tonight I'm reporting from a hotel room at the Hampton Inn in Lombard, IL, a fine establishment in a quiet commercial suburb of Chicago. Emily and I are excitedly waiting for tomorrow to come so that we can drive down to the historic Portage Theater to witness firsthand the wonder and amazement that is Lebowski Fest Chicago. We'll be here all weekend, and I might even have some updates while we're here.

Before the screening of the film tomorrow, two bands are playing, Blue Moon Swamp (a Creedence Tribute band...maybe they'll have tapes...) and The Steepwater Band, a southern flavored rock band, sure to fit the mold. So tip back a Caucasian, try not to swear so much, finish your coffee, get a toe - with polish - throw some rocks, put on some Whale Songs, and tumble on down the road while we enjoy this natural, zesty enterprise, we like to call Lebowski Fest.
