British Sea Power and The 1900s at the Basement
In honor of my continuing fascination with reviewing British Sea Power via Moleskine, along with my recent desire to share my actual concert notes with all of you, ThaBombShelter's review of British Sea Power and The 1900s at The Basement will be in the form of my notes, hastily scrawled in the near dark of a crowded mosh pit. I think my handwriting is surprisingly good, considering the circumstances. Anyway, thanks to Emily, we've also got 19 live tracks from the concert (complete with a zip of the whole thing). Let me know what you think of this little experiment. Photos and possibly YouTube clips coming tomorrow.

thanks for sharing
album of the year?
One of, that's for damn sure!
i wish there were more live reviews as wild and sprawling as this... the academia of rock journalism today can eat a big fat dick compared to this natural beauty!!!
Hey, Thanks Su! I'm kind of curious what the notebooks of more traditional journalists look like when they're actually at a concert. Are they as stuffy as the writing tends to be or are there true fans out there still?
I love the scrawling notes!
Esther
I'm glad you can read it! :-D
brilliant.
Thanks so much for this review, and the tracks.
I've nabbed the mp3 for True Adventures to use on my blog as part of my Aural Geography series.
